Here's What We Require and Procedures.......

1. We Need a clear, black line drawing on white paper of your picture - no shading in and on a 81/2 x 11 maximum size

paper (as per example)

2. We need your exact measurement size. Our plotter can do up to a maximum width of 35 1/2" to an unlimited length in a single piece. Anything larger would have to be pieced together.

3. We will then scan your picture into our computer. Some anomalies may have to be adjusted once auto traced into Glass Eye. Small non-time consuming adjustments (max 20 minutes) will be included in this service. Large, more time consuming adjustments will be priced according to time spent. Adjustment price is calculated at $10.00 CAD per hour over the 20 minute margin - we will advise prior to enlarging an approximate time frame to fix the pattern. This problem usually occurs if the pattern contains rough lines or if lines are not even in coloration or size. Keeping your line drawing as even as possible will ensure less adjustments on our part.

4. Pricing - Fees for enlarging are $2.50 CAD per running foot. Based on a pattern requirement size of 32 inches by 48 inches. The price would be $10.00 CAD. Running foot = 48 inches (4 feet x 2.50) If pattern is larger than 35 1/2" wide and requires piecing -for example - 45" x 48". It would require twice the running length (4 feet x 2 x 2.50 ) Price would then be $20.00 CAD providing that you as the customer are piecing it together yourselves.

5, Pattern is Now Enlarged to the actual size that you want it to be. Your copy is also a non-color - black line drawing ready for your special glass project.

6. Adjusting the Lines to Suit for Foiling or Leading - Based on your information, we can adjust the line sizes for copper foil or lead construction. We can made the line also as a "hair-line" or very thick - depending on your needs.

7. Additional Information Required On Your Pattern? - We can also piece number your pattern if you wish for easier construction

8. Need an extra copy (s)? - A lot of glass creators use two or more copies when constructing their project - we will sell you additional enlarged black line copies of your drawing for $2.00 per running foot!

9. Corresponding colored guide - We can also provide you with a coordinating color copy of your pattern on a standard 8 1/2 x 11 paper. We will "color" in your pieces as per your color/glass requirements and even use authentic glass samples that provide even a texture to your picture. Price for additional color guide is $5.00 per copy.

10. How Much Materials Will You Need? Included with your color guide - we can provide you with an idea of how much glass & materials you'll require to complete your project in the size for which it's assigned. We can even help you cost out your project if you're commissioning it out for your own client!!.

11. Not From Our Area? - Simply email your line drawing to us in a .jpeg format -& we'll perform you're pattern requests and send it back to you by the shipping mode of your choice. Your only extra cost will be whatever your shipping costs are.
